| To whom it may concern,
Not long ago, around 100 years or so, the Abyss that was kept secret from humans for many many years, has become public knowledge.
Humans now sought to control the Abyss. These people are unknown, for they act like normal citizens, but when they are not, they show a supernatural power that comes only from Chains.
How they obtained this power is widely unknown...
But, after years of living in fear, people began to rise up and fight back. For 5 years, a war ragged and consumed the land. The Humans were loosing... The mighty powers of the Organization known as 'Abyssal Freedom' having worn them all out...
It was then that something strange happened. Someone from the Organization appeared in a town, but did not fight... He did not kill... He simply asked to see their leader, their commander.
He was granted this wish.
After meeting with the man, a contract was made between them. It bound the man from the Abyssal Freedom Group to the commander of the Rebellion. The man showed strange powers afterward.
He became known as the first ever 'Contractor'. A human that has made a Contract with a being from the Abyss, called a 'Chain'.
A Chain had many powers, most made their home in the Abyss as humans, and slowly changed into creatures with supernatural powers. When the Abyssal Freedom group, now a group of extremely powerful Chains, had escaped, they left the gate they used open, and so, other Chain have come out of it.
Since then, other Humans have gained Chain for partners, some every day, some rare.
But that was over 100 years ago... Since then, the organization has vanished.
But now, they have returned, with more members than ever before in their ranks.
They are preparing for War once more, and the Humans of now are unknowing. The stories they have been told turning into Fairytails.
It may just be all up to you...
